The Friendly Beasts song and Bingo game will be a fun addition to your Christmas celebration. This is perfect to play at home with your kids or during your next Sunday School hour.
The Friendly Beasts song and Bingo game will remind your children of the wonderful Christmas story – the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. While the “Friendly Beasts” poem is, of course, fictional, it is a precious story about the need to honor Jesus with the gifts He has given us.
“The Friendly Beasts” poem has its origins in France from the 12th century. The current English version of words that I use in my song is by Robert Davis (1881-1950) in the 1920s. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Friendly_Beasts)
I have always loved this sweet song. In fact, when my girls were about 3 and 5, I wrote my own tune to this poem and had them reenact it for our family during Christmas. So, my “Friendly Beasts” song is one of the oldest songs I’ve written and I still love sharing it after all these years.
Today, I am sharing with you the video to my version of “The Friendly Beasts”:

In addition to “The Friendly Beasts” song, I am giving you a Bingo game that will complement the song.
I am providing you with 4 different Bingo cards that showcase the 4 different animals mentioned in the story. Each Bingo card places the animals in different squares.
There is also a page of animal cards. These are the cards you will pull out of a hat or bucket and announce to the players so that they can cover them on their Bingo cards.
The center picture on each Bingo card is a manger scene. Everyone should cover this picture to begin the game. The first one to cover 3 pictures in a row is the winner!
