Christmas songs for preschoolers are a great addition to your Christmas holiday!
I love writing Christmas songs for preschoolers that help them learn about their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and how He came to earth as a little bitty baby.
Here is a fun playful song to help your little ones think about the kinds of gifts they can give to Jesus, such as a heart filled with love for Him. Preschoolers love to pretend and I thought it would be fun to give them the chance to think about what a bell might give to Jesus. The answer of course is a ring a ling a ling a ling. How about a dog? His bark of course!

Merry Christmas, Boys and Girls and Teachers, too!
Christmas is finally here! The holiday when we celebrate the birth of Jesus – our Lord and Savior!
Christmas is a time of giving wonderful gifts to our family and friends because God gave us the greatest gift of all – His Son Jesus!
I bet many of you are hoping you get a special gift this year. Think about a gift you would like, then at the count of 3, can you yell out one gift you hope to get? 1 – 2 – 3! (Wait for response.) Wow! Those all sound like amazing gifts!
Now raise your hand if you are going to give a gift to someone in your family or to a friend.(Wait for response.) Wow! Look at all those hands go up!
Now raise your hand if you’ve thought about what you can give to Baby Jesus. Hmmm. Not as many hands went up.
Did you ever think that each of you can give a gift to Baby Jesus? I’m not talking about this kind of gift. (Show a gift with a bow.) Some gifts can’t be wrapped up. For example the gift of love. Did you know you can give Jesus your heart filled with all your love for Him?
But what if you were a bell? What would you give to Baby Jesus then?
Let’s sing a fun song to find out some different gifts that a bell or a train or a dog or other fun things might give to Baby Jesus.
Christmas Songs for Preschoolers: What Can I Give to Baby Jesus? by Kathy Vincent, The Scripture Lady
What can I give to Baby Jesus?
What can I give my precious Lord?
What can I give to the King of kings on this happy Christmas morn?
If I were a bell I’d ring all day.
Ring a ling a ling a ling. That is what I’d say.
If I were a train I”d whistle all day.
Choo-choo-choo-choo. That is what I’d say.
That is what I’d give to Baby Jesus on this happy Christmas day!
What can I give to Baby Jesus? What can I give my precious Lord?
What can I give to the King of kings on this happy Christmas morn?
If I were a dog I’d bark all day.
Woof, woof, woof, woof. That is what I’d say.
If I were a drum I’d pound all day.
Rum pum pum pum pum. That is what I’d say.
That is what I’d give to Baby Jesus on this happy Christmas day!
What can I give to Baby Jesus? What can I give my precious Lord?
What can I give to the King of kings on this happy Christmas morn?
If I were a horse I’d whinny all day.
Neigh, neigh, neigh, neigh. That is what I’d say.
If I were a car I’d honk all day.
Beep, beep, beep, beep. That is what I’d say.
That is what I’d give to Baby Jesus on this happy Christmas day!
What can I give to Baby Jesus? What can I give my precious Lord?
What can I give to the King of kings on this happy Christmas morn?
I’m not a bell, a train or dog, a drum, a horse or even a car
God made me a person you see, so I will give Jesus my heart
Merry Christmas, Baby Jesus!
