5 Bible verse songs to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ – These songs can be added to any curriculum to help your kids share the the good news of Jesus with their friends.
Teach these 5 Bible verse songs to share the Gospel during your next Sunday School hour, mid-week Bible club or during your next Zoom meeting to help bring truth and joy into your time together.
These 5 Bible verse songs were born out of my Bible program called “The Wordless Book.” It was the second program that I ever wrote and I always love pulling out and dusting it off to share with a new group of kids ages preschool through elementary.
Have you ever heard of the “The Wordless Book?” Or have you taught the Wordless Book colors to your children?
If not, here is a quick explanation of this amazing tool to share the good news of Jesus:
Gold – Reminds us of God’s love and how He has prepared a special place for each one of His children in Heaven where we will be a part of His Forever Family. (John 3:16)
Dark – Reminds us of the sin in our lives. Sin is anything we think, say or do that displeases God. God cannot allow sin into heaven. Sin must be punished and the punishment for sin is to be separated from God forever. But God has a wonderful plan so that we won’t have to be punished for our sin. (Romans 3:23 and 13:12)
Red – Reminds us of the blood that Jesus shed on the cross to take the punishment for our sins. His blood is the only thing that can cleanse us of our sins. (I Corinthians 15:3-4 and Hebrews 10:22)
Clean – Reminds us that we can have a clean heart because of the price that Jesus paid for our sins on the cross. If you admit that you are a sinner and believe in your heart that Christ died for your sins and call on Him to forgive you of your sins, you will be saved. (John 1:12)
Green – Reminds us of things that grow. As a child of God, we too can grow. We can grow in prayer, in the reading of His Word, in fellowship with other believers, and by telling others about God’s wonderful Gospel story. (II Peter 3:18)

Eternal Life – John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
All Have Sinned – Romans 3:23: All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
According to the Scriptures – 1 Corinthians 15:3-4: For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that He was buried and that He was raised on the third day.
If We Confess – 1 John 1:9: If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Grow, Grow, Grow – 2 Peter 3:18: Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever. Amen!
