Flip and Find The Lord’s Prayer Bible Activity

Thank you for purchasing a Scripture Lady Bible game for preschoolers!

“Flip and Find The Lord’s Prayer”  is a fun and creative way to introduce the idea of prayer to your little ones.

I often play this game during my “Let’s Pray” program and this will be a great addition to your own Christian classroom or home.

This is what you will find below:

* 6 downloadable pictures that represent the 6 sections of “The Lord’s Prayer” – Size of each picture: 8.5 x 11 inches

* 6 downloadable pictures for the 6 sections of the surprise picture showing Jesus with the children – Size of each picture: 8.5 x 11 inches

* 6 downloadable pictures for the slides that you can use with your slide presentation such as Power Point

* A presentation video

* An instructional video

* All the files are jpeg files.

How to Download the Files

  1. RIGHT click over the name of the file you want to download and you should be given the choice of where on your computer you want to save the file.
  2. Once the file is saved to your computer, you can now locate where you saved it then print it as you desire.

Best Practices for this Bible Game for Preschoolers

  1. Print the pictures on card stock for long term use.
  2. Attach the front side of each picture correctly to each back side. The “instructional” video will show you how I have placed my pictures. You will notice that I don’t show the front 6 pictures in the correct order of  ‘The Lord’s Prayer.”
  3. I suggest that you display your pictures on a pocket chart as you can see in the instructional video below. You can easily order a pocket chart from OrientalTrading.com at this link: Pocket Chart
  4. Place your pocket chart up on an easel at a height that your preschoolers can reach.
  5. You might want to laminate your pictures so they will last a long time.
  6. Present “The Lord’s Prayer” using the slide pictures as a Power Point presentation or simply print off the 6 slides on card stock and hold each one up for all the children to see.
  7. Invite a child to come forward and find the matching picture and then flip it over to reveal the surprise picture on the back.
  8. Use the pictures to review the different parts of the prayer.
  9. Finally, encourage your preschooler to pray with you and help him or her think of one idea they can pray about that fits within one of the sections of the prayer. For example, you might say, “God gives us our daily bread, Samantha. That means He gives us everything we need. Can you think of something you can ask God for that you need?”
