“Beautiful Feet” is based on the wonderful Bible verse of Romans 10:15, which says: “…How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”
This verse is a great reminder to us all to be thankful for the person or people in our lives who took the time to share the good news of Jesus Christ with us. Their feet should be pretty beautiful to us. Because they took the time to “walk our way” we are blessed with the gospel of peace and glad tidings.
This Bible Object Pull will help encourage your kids to share the gospel with those they meet. And prayerfully, one day, someone might proclaim to them, “How beautiful are your feet!” Through the showcasing of 5 different pairs of shoes, your kids will be challenged to share the good news of Jesus wherever their feet take them.
So, find all your objects including 5 pairs of great shoes and have some fun!

Directions on How to Share a Bible Object Pull
A Bible Object Pull is a type of object lesson that uses several objects to share a biblical message. The objects are placed in a bag where they are concealed. As the message is given, the objects are “pulled” out of the bag as a visual reminder of the lesson they are learning.
Through the use of fun, engaging objects along with a biblical message, your children will engage in God’s Word, the Bible, in a fun and creative way.
To successfully share a Bible Object Pull, you will need the following:
You will need to prepare all the slides / posters that I have provided you with. You can use them as part of a Power Point presentation or perhaps simply print them off and use them as posters to display on an easel or as part of a bulletin board layout. In my programs, I use a Power Point presentation. I like how the pictures are big on my screen and everyone can see them. If you use the pictures as posters, just make sure that all your children can see them.
You will need to gather all the objects for the lesson. “Beautiful Feet” uses a total of 10 props as listed here:
- one pair of cowboy boots
- one cowboy hat
- one pair of girl’s party / dress shoes
- one tiara (I found mine at my local dollar store.)
- one pair of swim fins (I had some real ones from my husband’s surfing days. However, I also found some at the Dollar store during the summer season.)
- one inflatable swim ring (Again, can be found at your local Dollar store in the summer.)
- one pair of sandals
- one brightly colored beach towel
- one pair of slippers (The funnier, the better.)
- one teddy bear or stuffed animal of your choice
Finally, you will need to find a very large bag or box in which to put all of your objects in. The bag or box must conceal the items in order to enhance the surprise element of this lesson. In the presentation video above, you will see that I am using my “Scripture Lady Bag.” This bag is a special production bag made especially for me. It actually has a false bottom that attaches to a special table which has a hidden bag. Therefore, I am able to pull lots of things out of the bag that are larger than the bag itself. You may not want to go to such “great measures” to have this kind of bag. This is understandable. However, I cannot encourage you enough to make your bag with bold colors in order to entice your kids with what is inside.
As an alternative to my “Scripture Lady Bag,” I created my “Big Bucket of Bible Fun” bag. If you would like to see how I made my “Big Bucket of Bible Fun” bag, click HERE to learn how. This is a bag made from a collapsible yard bag covered with a case that is colorful and fun.
Once you have your bag, place all the objects in the bag to coincide with the order of the slides. Remember, the last objects that you will pull out, will go down at the bottom of the bag and the first objects that you will pull out, will be at the top.
Practice going through the slides / posters and giving the message.
When you are ready to present your Bible Object Pull, have the children sit in front of you. For “Beautiful Feet,” you will need to pick 5 children to come up and stand to your right or left. For this Bible Object Pull, I choose 3 boys and 2 girls. However, you will need to pick the children that you are able to from your class. Just remember, you really need at least one girl to whom you will give the party shoes.
After you read each slide, you will pull out the 2 objects that correlate to the kinds of shoes. You will give the shoes and it’s additional object to the first child. Continue to go through all the slides and give the shoes and the additional props to each of the children you picked. Afterwards, collect all the objects and store them in a duffle for use again.
