Asking 5 W questions for Bible review is a fun way to help your children learn the basics of any Bible story. Here are some questions for Luke One about the birth of John the Baptist.
John the Baptist may have grown to like locusts and honey, but he was a baby just like you and me at one time. However, the story of his birth was probably far more eventful than yours or mine. The story of how Zechariah and Elizabeth learned of their future son is nothing short of amazing. Your young ones will enjoy reading this story of a special birth just as much as the birth of Jesus. What child doesn’t like a story with an angel in it?
Here are twelve 5 W questions – who, what, when, where, why and how – with their answers for the story of “John the Baptist’s Foretold Birth” found in Luke 1: 5-25. You can ask the questions or you could have a nice hand or finger puppet do the asking. Have fun!
