The story of Noah’s Ark has often been relegated to just a cute story about some animals inside a big boat.  But the deeper and life-changing meaning of this epic story reveals God’s desire to save those who follow Him with all their lives.  I believe it is crucial that our children have a handle on the basics of this story and here are 14 Bible trivia questions that you can easily integrate into any lesson about Noah and the Ark.

Bible Trivia Questions and Answers About Noah:

1. Question:  Who was Noah?
Answer:  Noah was a good man.  God asked him to build an ark or big boat.


2. Question:  How long ago did he live?
Answer:  Noah lived nearly 4,000 years ago.

3. Question:  Were the people doing good things or bad things during the time of Noah?
Answer:  During the time of Noah, the people were doing very bad things.

4. Question:  How did God feel about the bad things the people were doing?
Answer:  God was very sad and angry.

5. Question:  What did God decide to do to punish the people for all the bad things they were doing?
Answer:  God sent a great flood to destroy every living creature on the face of the earth.

6. Question:  Was Noah destroyed in the flood?
Answer:  No.  God protected Noah in the ark or big boat.

7. Question:  Was anyone else saved in the ark from the flood?
Answer:  Yes.  Noah’s family was saved.

8. Question:  Who was in Noah’s family?
Answer:  His wife, sons and their wives.

9. Question:  How long did it rain?
Answer:  It rained for 40 days and 40 nights and the water covered the earth for 150 days.

10. Question:  Was anything saved that was not inside the ark?
Answer:  No.  Every living creature outside of the ark was destroyed.

11. Question:  Will God ever flood the whole earth again?
Answer:  No.  God said that he promises never to flood the whole earth again.

12. Question:  What did he place in the sky to remind us of His promise?
Answer:  God placed a beautiful rainbow in the sky.

13. Question:  Will the earth ever be destroyed?
Answer:  Yes.  The Bible says that the earth will be destroyed someday by fire.

14. Question:  Will some people be saved just like Noah and his family were saved?
Answer:  Yes.  Those people who trust Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will be saved from the destruction of the earth.

You can take these Bible trivia questions for kids and come up with your own Bible review questions.  For instance, you can play a version of Bible Baseball or Bible Jeopardy.  The list of ideas is numerous.  But most of all, have fun.
