“Crazy Stand-Ups”
Memorizing by rote can be challenging for children, so why not add a fun twist? Choose
a Bible verse for your kids to memorize, then gather everyone together. Announce fun commands, such as:
- “Stand up if you had pancakes for breakfast.”
- “Stand up if you’re wearing socks.”
- “Stand up if your birthday is in June.”
- “Stand up if you’re wearing red.”
Encourage kids to recite the verse when they stand up. Keep the commands coming, with children standing up and sitting down until they’ve memorized the verse. This lively activity promotes movement, memory, and lots of laughs!
“Surprise Sounds”
