Bible Verse Coloring Pages for Light in the Bible by The Scripture Lady

by | Oct 4, 2019 | The Blog

Bible verse coloring pages for light in the Bible will give your kids a fun way to learn 2 great scriptures.

These Bible verse coloring pages for light in the Bible can be a fun addition to any lesson about light. The two verses are Genesis 1:13 and Matthew 5:16.

Genesis 1:3 says, “And God said, ‘Let there be light.'”

Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light shine before men that they may see your good deeds and praise the Father in Heaven.”

These Bible verse coloring pages for light in the Bible can go really well for this October season. As Christians, we do not celebrate Halloween. However, I know many of you do outreaches to your community to shine your lights for Jesus in the midst of what can be a rather dark time in our world. So, perhaps when you hand out a piece of candy, hand out these Bible coloring pages as well and remind the kids that Jesus is the light of the world.

In fact, if you leave a comment below, I will give you an additional coloring page all about how Jesus is the light from John 9:5. Once you leave your comment, I will send you an email with the coloring page.

Thank you for these timely helps. They are PERFECT for our October ministries. I teach a preschool chapel each Friday, two preschools at a family rehab program, and one more preschool each week. Plus, three Good News Clubs, Sunday School, and Children’s Church. Not to mention, our Fall Festival this month! God bless you in sharing God’s Word to the little ones. We would LOVE to meet you sometime!

Thank you so much for sharing these coloring pages. I often use the ideas you so generously provide in children’s sermons. Just wanted to point out there is a mistake in the Matthew 5:16 coloring page. It says let you light shine instead of let your light shine.
