Bible Creation Activities for Kids — Songs, Games, Videos & More

by | Jun 20, 2026 | Bible Games, Bible Object Lessons, Bible Storytelling, Bible Verse Songs, Children's Ministry Props, Creation, Preschool Bible Activity, The Blog

One of my absolute favorite things to teach kids is the Creation story. There is just something so wonderful about watching a child’s eyes go wide when they realize that the same God who made the mountains and the oceans and the stars also made them — on purpose, with love, and with a plan.

If you’re a Sunday School teacher, a homeschool mom, or a children’s ministry leader looking for Bible creation activities for kids, I think you are going to love what I’ve put together for you right here.

I’m Kathy Vincent — The Scripture Lady — and I’ve been creating Bible

songs, games, object lessons, and videos for children’s ministry for over 30 years. On this page, I’ve gathered my very best creation resources all in one place, organized by Bible story so you can jump straight to what you need.

Ready? Let’s explore what God made!

The Days of Creation

There’s no better place to begin than Genesis 1 — seven days, an all-powerful God, and a world spoken into existence from nothing. These resources will help your kids truly feel the wonder of what God made.

🎵 He's Got the Whole World in His Hands

This classic song is such a natural fit for a Creation lesson, isn’t it? Because after learning that God made everything — the land, the sea, the animals, and us — what better response than to sing that He holds it all in His hands!

I have two versions for you to enjoy:

My version — a simple, sweet sing-along that works perfectly for circle time or a quiet worship moment.

Jack and Jill version — my favorite puppet duo brings the fun! Kids go absolutely crazy for Jack and Jill, and this version does not disappoint. Grab a couple of your own puppets and share this song with your children.

🎵 My God is So Great

After spending time in Genesis 1, kids need a song that lets them respond with praise — and this is the one! It’s energetic, it’s memorable, and it sends kids home singing about how amazing our Creator God truly is.

My version — a longer sing-along perfect for really learning the words together.

        🎵 Creation Rock, Creation Roll

Kids love to move — and this upbeat song gets them up on their feet as they rock and roll their way through each day of Creation! It’s one of my favorite ways to help children remember what God made on each day without even realizing they’re memorizing.

          Creation Bible Stories

✝️ A Crankie Bible Story for Creation

Have you ever seen a Crankie? It’s a hand-cranked scroll story — a beautifully old-fashioned way to tell a Bible story — and I think you are just going to love this one. This Crankie walks through the entire Creation story in a slow, wonder-filled way that invites kids to really look and really listen. It’s especially wonderful for a quiet, reflective moment in your lesson.

          Adam and Eve

After God filled the world with beauty, He created something even more extraordinary — people made in His very own image. The story of Adam and Eve is so important for children to understand, because it helps them see that sin has real consequences, but that God’s love for us never wavers. Here’s a resource to help bring that truth to life in your classroom.

✝️ Adam and Eve Sin - The Tricky Snake Story

Have you ever told a Bible story using stacked boxes and picture cards? That’s exactly what The Tricky Snake Story is — and trust me, your kids are going to love it! This hands-on storytelling presentation walks children through Genesis 1–3, from the beauty of Creation all the way to Adam and Eve’s big mistake — and the cross that makes everything right again. It’s designed for ages 4–7, uses

simple props your kids can interact with, and ends with a gospel moment that will stay with them long after class is over.

          The Full Creation Lesson

Sometimes you need everything in one place — and that’s exactly what this video gives you. The God Made the World Bible Lesson Video is a complete, ready-to-use lesson that walks children through the entire Creation story in a fun, engaging, kid-friendly way. It’s perfect for a substitute teacher day, a family movie night, or any time you want a full lesson that practically teaches itself.

          Bible Trivia About Creation

Want a quick and easy way to review the Creation story with your class? This Bible trivia post is full of questions that work great as a classroom warm-up, a review game, or a fun way to wrap up your lesson and see what your kids remembered.

Teaching kids about Creation is truly one of the greatest privileges we have as Bible teachers. Because when a child understands that the God who made the universe also made them — that He knew them before they were born, and that He loves them more than they can imagine — everything changes.

I hope these Bible creation activities for kids make your next lesson the one your students talk about all week. You are doing something that matters for eternity, friend. Keep going!

          Blessings,
          Kathy Vincent
