Bible Creation Activities for Preschoolers — Songs, Games & More | The Scripture Lady

by | Jul 3, 2026 | Bible Games, Creation, Preschool Bible Activity, The Blog

There is nothing quite like watching a preschooler’s face light up when they realize God made the sun, the moon, the stars, and every single animal — and that He made them, too.

If you’re a Sunday School teacher, a homeschool parent, or a children’s ministry leader looking for Creation activities for preschoolers, I’ve gathered my favorites right here — hands-on games, a story you can “pack in a suitcase,” and a song to sing along the way.

I’m Kathy Vincent — The Scripture Lady — and I’ve been creating Bible

songs, games, object lessons, and videos for children’s ministry for over 30 years. On this page, I’ve gathered my very best creation resources all in one place, organized by Bible story so you can jump straight to what you need.

Ready? Let’s explore what God made!

🎲 Creating Creation

A colorful mountain landscape with birds and a rainbow.

Preschoolers love rolling dice, and they love watching a big, colorful scene come together right before their eyes. This roll-and-build game lets them do both, while learning what God made on each day of Creation.

🧳 Let's Learn About Creation

Pack a suitcase, and take your class on a “trip” through all seven days of Creation! With a few simple props — a flashlight, some stuffing, a couple of inflatable balls — this is a Creation lesson your preschoolers will ask for again and again.

The Days of Creation

🎵 God Made the World Song

After all that playing and learning, preschoolers need a song to help it stick — and this one does exactly that! A simple, singable tune that celebrates everything God made.

More Creation fun is on the way! I’m working on two more resources for this page — a “God Made the World in 7 Days” activity and “God Made the Stars, Too” — so be sure to check back soon.

Teaching preschoolers about Creation is one of the sweetest privileges we have as Bible teachers. When a little one understands that the God who made the stars also made them, on purpose, with love — that’s a truth that sticks with them for life.

I hope these Creation activities for preschoolers make your next lesson one your little ones talk about all week!

I love props! And when you pack your suitcase for this game, the kids’ faces will shine at the acts of Creation. Preschoolers may be little, but their wonder for God’s Creation is anything but small.
