God Made Me Special Bible Program: A Bible Program for Preschoolers

God Made Me Special Bible program is designed to share Jesus and the Bible with your preschoolers.

God Made Me Special Bible program is the first preschool chapel program for 2020. Through the use of catchy Bible songs, Bible games, creative story telling and surprise-filled object lessons, your preschoolers will grow in their friendship with Jesus and His Word.

Each Scripture Lady program lasts approximately 45 minutes. I create a fun and visually exciting “stage” area designed to captivate your little ones from the beginning to the end of the presentation. Along with a Power Point presentation, I bring in lots of other props and eye-catching goodies to share the Bible and the love of Jesus.

Take a look at this compilation video from some of my preschools:

Below, you will find a quick synopsis of my God Made Me Special Bible program.

This program was inspired by the joy that I have in telling preschoolers that God has fearfully and wonderfully made each and every one of them.

The children will learn the following 3 ways that God has made each one of them special:

Way #1: We are special because God has given each of us gifts and talents to use.

Way #2: We are special because God has given each of us our own life and story.

Way #3: We are special because God has given each of us His love.

Intro: Psalm 139:14

My program starts off with a fun Bible verse song from Psalm 139:14, which says: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made… I know that full well.” What a blessing it is to be able to share with our children that God is their Creator and that He has taken great care in creating each of their hearts to serve Him all their days. Through my song called “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” your preschoolers will learn this truth.

Here is a sample of of the song and moves of “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”:

Pollyanne Sings “God Made You Special”

One of my favorite characters that I get to share with preschoolers is my “cousin” Pollyanne. Pollyanne lives in Louisville, KY and is an aspiring country western singer. But when she’s not busy singing and writing songs, Pollyanne loves to “pop in” during one of my programs and share one of her songs with the children. This time, Pollyanne will be singing a brand new song called “God Made You Special.”

Pollyanne has a wonderful little poem she shares with the children that goes like this:

No matter if you’re short or tall

Slow or fast

Or big of small

The Lord God has made us one and all!

Take a look at a sample of this fun song that your preschoolers will love:

At this point of the program, I get to share the first way that God has made each of us special.

Way #1: We are special because God has given each of us gifts and talents to use.

Preschoolers are discovering so many wonderful things about the world around them and about who they are. We all have gifts and talents that God the Father has given us and even at a young age, we can see those talents begin to blossom. Eventually, each child will grown up and prayerfully be able to use their talents for Jesus.

To learn about some of the talents the children might grow into, we will play a game called “Who Does Jesus Love?” It will showcase 5 community helpers who have learned to use their talents to serve those around them. The community helpers include a fireman, a policeman, a construction worker, a pilot and and a cowboy.

After this fun game, I get to share a really fun song called “You Might Be.” It’s a sweet song that encourages the children to imagine what they might grow up to be some day.

Here is a sample of of the song and moves of “You Might Be”:

To the first 5 people who write a comment below sharing a sentence or two about how they use the talents God gave them, I will give you the downloadable mp3 of this song!

Way #2: We are special because God has given each of us our own life and story.

Your preschoolers are learning that they have a lot of similarities to their friends, but they are also learning that each of them is different. God has a unique life for each of them to live. To help teach this point, I bring out 5 “friends” from around the world: Pablo, Akiko, Liam, Mohammed and Ingrid. With the use of cute pictures of each of these friends, the preschoolers will learn about the country that each comes from and what a typical day looks like for each of them. As a gift to you, here are the 5 pictures of the children that I use. Just click on each name to be taken to the picture:

Did the people in the Bible live unique lives? Of course, they did! EVERY person has a special story that only they can tell. Take for example the daughter of Jairus. We don’t know the name of this girl, but we know part of her story and it’s a doozy! I will be sharing this young girl’s story using my friend’s awesome product called “Bible Story Sticks”.

Way #3: We are special because God has given each of us His love.

One of my greatest pleasures when sharing any of my programs is to tell the children that God loves them very much. There’s no doubt about it, each of us is special because of God’s great love for us. I get to share this truth by sharing a brand new object lesson that uses a really fun prop called “The Heart On a String.”

Take a look at my use of this fun prop in the following video while teaching about God’s great love for us:

Scruffy Learns that He is Special Because Jesus Lives in His Heart

Is that barking I hear? You bet! It’s Scruffy dressed in his “Super Scruffy” cape. Scruffy thinks that he is special because he can do lots of super things. I tell Scruffy that he is super because that is how God made him. But the most super thing about Scruffy is that Jesus lives inside his heart. Your preschoolers will LOVE Scruffy, which is a Darci Maze puppet. He often steals the show!

Finally, the children and I will sing a sweet version of the old time hymn “Oh, How I Love Jesus!”
