Vacation Bible School ideas are great for elementary kids ! Here is one called “People, Places or Things.”
Vacation Bible School ideas for elementary kids will make your VBS even more special and for this one you will need to do the following:
Pick any Bible story such as Shadrach and his two buddies. Pick a child and give him 30 seconds to name as many people, places or things he remembers from the story. You, the teacher, should be the one who keeps tally, while you have another child watch the time.
So, for example, the child might say Babylon, statue, horns, music, worship, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, God, fiery furnace, king, and the son of God. If you hear anything that was not part of the story, it goes off the tally. Reward the child with one M&M per answer and you will have a winner.
