Hi Belinda,

Thank you so much for taking some time to look at my “Scripture Granny” character. I really appreciate any advice or input on her looks.

My audience is between the ages of 3 to 7/8.

My desire is that she be very lovable and approachable.

My daughter mentioned that “Scripture Granny” in video 4 below did not look old enough. Therefore, I added the grey wig, crisper shirt and glasses holder around my neck.

The most recent videos are the ones at the top. I just added a couple from earlier on. She has definitely evolved over time.

I’ve added comments below each video that share my thoughts.

This video shows my most recent updates of her look. I have a little red bow in her hair that I have been doing as “normal.”

Not sure I like this bow. But I was trying to find something to brighten her up a bit. You will also see in the video above, I gave her a nicer shirt.

I LOVE this look she has. Normally, I would always have her in the blue apron as above, but once in a while, I give her a costume that fits with the theme of the song.

This is my old wig that I used for a few years. I felt I needed a wig that made her look older and also to give some contrast the the white screen.

Here’s one more with a fun costume. I really like it when she has something on her head, but not sure if I want to incorporate something that she wears “all” the time.
