Kathy Vincent, The Scripture Lady of Orange County, CADear Friend,

Question-mark

*  Do you have a difficult time keeping your children focused and

participating during your Bible lesson or review time?

*  Are your kids whining and complaining when it is time to review a

memory verse or Bible concept?

*  Do you wish your kids could be excited about God’s Word as much

as you?

If the answer is “YES”, then I believe I can help you.

My love for Bible Review Games began with an author I discovered many years ago.

His name is Edward Dunlop and ALL of his stuff is AMAZING!

I always highly recommend all of his books in my workshops.

His work has inspired me to create my own Bible Review Games

and I have had a blast putting them together.

Next to presenting my Scripture songs, Bible Review Game Time

is a favorite among the kids I get to minister to.

A child’s work is PLAY.

A Bible Review Game puts work and play together and the result is a BLAST!

So, here are the 10 Downloadable Bible Review Games that

the Scripture Lady uses to help her kids get excited about God’s Word…

Game #1:

I believe one of the main goals of every Christian parent or teacher should be

that their children know all the books of the Bible by heart.  If we want our kids

to grow up being scholars of God’s Word, they need to know where every book is

and have an idea of its main characters.  Here are colorful cards for all 66 books

of the Bible along with 10 fun ways you can get your kids on the road

to better knowing the greatest book of all time.

Game #2:

Why is it that often the simplest games are the ones our kids love best?

I am not sure of the answer, but I am not kidding when I say my

Sunday School class LOVES the simple game “True or False Pick It!”

In this game kit, I have provided you with 12 True or False lessons all based on

topics found in the Scriptures.  For example, your kids will be challenged to grow in

their faith as well as forgiveness.  They will learn that God wants them to love Him

and to love others all while playing a fun and active game.

Game #3:

Did you know that your kids are always producing some kind of fruit?

Hopefully, it’s not the rotten variety, but the kind that gushes forth the

“Fruit of the Spirit.” Galatians 5:22 says: “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,

patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

These 9 characteristics are ones we all should have in our lives.

Here is a fun game reminiscent of the old standard “Concentration”

to help your kids think about each of these great fruits and their importance.

Game #4:

The Lord’s Prayer gives Christians insight into how we should pray.

What an honor it is to be able to share Jesus’ heart of prayer with our young ones.

Two other great principles of prayer can be found in Matthew 7:7-11 –

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door

will be opened to you” and the rhetorical question:  “Which of you, if his son

asks for bread, will give him a stone?”  The ending comment is of course,

“…your Father in Heaven give(s) good gifts to those who ask Him.”

Use this game to boldly remind your kids that they

can come to God with any request.

Game #5:

Knowing the 10 Commandments should be a goal of every Christian,

for after all Jesus did “not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it.” (Mat. 5:17)

You can have fun sharing God’s great commandments with your kids

as they make the correct matches and earn points while doing so.

Game #7:

Child of God, Friend of God, Heir to Eternal Life, Forgiven and Free!

What an amazing identity our Lord and Savior has given to each of His children!

Here is a fun game that will introduce 12 Scriptures that present

our identity in Christ to your children.

Game #8:

One day, a good friend of mine asked me what I thought the opposite of faith was.

I said, “Unbelief.”  He said, “I always thought that’s what it was, too.

But I think it’s much deeper than that.  I think it’s fear.”

I believe my friend is right.  Fear can be incredibly effective in weakening

our faith and belief in Jesus.  Our kids face the same kinds of fears as we do.

They might be on a smaller scale, but they are just as real.

Here is a fun Bible review game that will hopefully strengthen their faith

and put an end to their fears.

Game #9:

I love how the Word of God is so visual and how exciting it is to know

that God’s Word can be described by such great objects as a Sword,

a devouring Flame, a crushing Hammer and a Lamp unto our Feet!

These are things that kids know.  Now it’s your job to have fun with this game

and put the Word of God into their hands, minds and hearts.

Game #10:

Three Crosses, Two Choices – Which One will YOU Make?

Choosing to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the most important

decision any of us will ever make.  Many of our elementary aged kids

are ready to make this choice.  Here is a game that I hope will help

many children make an educated decision to choose Jesus.
