As a reminder, John 14:6 says this: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Several years ago when I began my ministry, I wanted to write a Bible verse song for John 14:6 for my program called,
“The Wordless Book.” The Wordless Book is a great visual tool and uses the 5 colors of gold, dark, red, white, and green to explain the gospel. The red color stands for the blood that Jesus shed for the forgiveness of our sin. John 14:6 is a perfect verse for reminding your children that Jesus is the only way to salvation.
James 5:20 says this: “Anyone who brings a sinner back from the wrong way will save that sinner’s soul from death.”
I actually wrote a Bible song for James 5:20 in which I pretend to be a cowboy. During my preschool programs, I choose a child to be a sheriff and one to be a deputy. I also pick a child to be the “outlaw” who has done something wrong. After I convince the child to leave his “life of crime,” we celebrate by singing James 5:20.
